There are some exciting projects on the horizon at my new school. (I just finished my first day!) My heart beats slightly faster at even the thought of chaperoning students abroad, but it’s been a goal of mine for a while, so I’m hoping to show them sites like these next summer …
… The canal St Martin, where the heroine of my favorite film, Le fabuleux destin d’Amelie Poulain, loved to skip rocks …
… or Notre dame …
… and of course we all know this one …
… or France’s second largest city Lyon …
… or the pink buildings of Nice (which I haven’t visited yet!) …
… i’m sure by the time we get there, we’ll all want to relax here …
… and by the end we’ll all be saying something along these lines. Have your 2013 summer plans started to shape yet?
I’m sure you will go. And remember Marie-Valerie (my little girl) lives in Nice now. 🙂
ah, oui ! c’est vrai 🙂 profite bien de ton premier labor day aux states !!
Do you need another chaperone? I know an experienced educator who is interested! Donna
